Hi, I'm Hiro. Sword fighting at dawn, ancient riddles, cyber-punk novels, these are all a few of my favorite things.
No, but seriously, I enjoy a multitude of things, reading, writing, photography, fine art, oil painting, philosophy, game theory, formal logic, math theory, level design for computer games and a few aspects of medicine (anatomy and neuroscience).
I work part time as a photographer and go to college full time, studying video game development. I formerly worked as a network tech, was a dotcom refugee, and a few other technical occupations, though I'm trying to move away from that and into the video game industry.
I've had the sad misfortune to be highly over-educated after eight years of college and I'm working to put it behind me, finish what few credits I have left and get the hell out of academia and back into the real world. The cure for the disease is drinking till all of the hurty brain-bits go back to the way they were before.
It's been interesting to say the least.
PS - Please feel free to comment on entries, even if you don't have a lot to say or it's just something random - I enjoy it :)
